Yezdi officials have confirmed that they will reintroduce the iconic Yezdi Roadking as their flagship bike, which will not be based on their current platform. This model utilizes the cylinder block from the 1974 CZ and shares the same rod for kick starting and gear shifting as other Yezdi models.

In the Gold Star, this particular engine generates 45.6PS and 55Nm of torque and is matched with a 5-speed transmission that includes a slipper clutch. If Yezdi opts for the 650cc alternative, the Roadking could have an approximate price of Rs 2.6 lakh (ex-showroom) and will directly compete with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, which is currently the most affordable 650cc bike available in India.
Similar to the iconic Ideal Jawa, the Roadking also features the original Tesla headlight bulb. With its twin exhaust ports and remarkable exhaust sound, this Czechoslovakian motorcycle offers a gratifying riding experience. It is not uncommon to witness this bike cruising through our neighborhoods as it has been present on Indian roads for more than a decade.
