Tata Curvv EV Reviews On Road Price 2024 Mileage, Features, Engine, Performance, Design & Images

Tata Curvv EV Reviews- On April 6, 2022, Tata Motors unveiled its latest electric vehicle concept called the Tata Curvv as promised. There were speculations about it being the final concept version of the Tata Sierra EV or the long-range variant of the Nexon Coupe EV. However, those who were eagerly anticipating the return of the iconic Tata Sierra in an electric form will have to wait longer. Instead, it is more likely that the Tata Curvv concept will give rise to an electric coupe that will occupy a position between the Tata Nexon and the Tata Harrier. The upcoming coupe is projected to be 4.3 meters long and will compete against the Hyundai Creta in the market.

The initial release of the Tata Curvv SUV will be as an electric vehicle, with the internal combustion engine versions coming later. Unlike other models, Tata has not opted for a skateboard platform for this SUV and instead will be utilizing the Omega-Arc platform, which is also used in the current generation Tata Harrier and Tata Safari. The Omega-Arc platform is modular and can accommodate vehicles ranging from 4.3 meters to 4.8 meters in length. With the upgraded Ziptron motor and more efficient lithium-ion battery pack, it is anticipated that the SUV will have a range of 400km to 500km on a full charge.

Tata Curvv EV Reviews 2024

The Tata Curvv is the creation of Martin Ulharik, the Head of Global Design at Tata Motors, who took over from the renowned Pratap Bose last year. This is the first product to be released under Ulharik’s leadership. In terms of design, the Tata Curvv has a muscular appearance with a front end that takes inspiration from the Tata Punch, although it is larger in size. The front also features a wide LED DRL strip and headlights placed on the bumper, similar to the Harrier, Safari, and Punch. It has flared wheel arches, giving it a wide stance. The side profile is enhanced by a prominent shoulder line.

The coupe design at the rear, which is reminiscent of the BMW X6/X4 and Audi Q3 Sportback, is a departure from what we have seen on Tata cars thus far. The taillight design stands out with its sleekness and 3D appearance. In terms of features, the EV will boast a digital instrument cluster and a large touchscreen infotainment system. The two-spoke steering wheel will incorporate touch controls and feature an illuminated Tata logo in the center. The dashboard will adopt a minimalist design approach, reducing the number of physical buttons. As usual, Tata cars prioritize ample interior space, which will be no exception in this model. To enhance the sense of spaciousness inside, a panoramic sunroof will also be included.
