Sankranthi Pongal Holidays – As per the TS School Academic Calendar 2023-2024, Sankranthi Holidays to TS Schools or TS School Sankranthi Holidays 2024 from January 13 to 17, 2024 (5 days). DSE has given orders on Sankranthi Holidays for TS Schools in Telangana TS. The Education Ministry has decide to give Six days of Sankranthi Holidays to public and private schools in Telangana state from 13-01-2024 to 17-01-2024. Telangana Schools will re open on the 18 January,2024. The school education authorities issued orders to all the DEOs to take necessary actions and measures to ensure that it all schools have holidays.

TS schools will observe two holidays – Maha Pongal and Vijayadashami – in accordance with the moon cycle. Vijayadashami is celebrated on the fifth day of the lunar month Magha and marks the victory of Lord Krishna over the demons.
