Engine, Transmission & Performance

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Next Gen is a Cruiser bike that has a 350 cc BS6 engine. The new 350cc platform, which is also used in the Meteor and the new Classic 350, will be used in the new Bullet. The engine will be a brand-new J-series unit with a maximum output of 20.2 bhp and a maximum torque output of 27 nm. A five-speed manual transmission is mated to it. With 19.1 bhp, the current 350cc engine produces slightly less power. On the other hand, torque is greater at 28 Nm. The power and torque numbers of the 2024 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 aren’t significant enough to make a big difference in the actual ride experience.

Engine Capacity 350 cc
Transmission Manual

The new 350cc platform and engine have successfully reduced vibrations significantly, which is a known fact. Meteor 350 and the new Classic 350 have been praised by users for their much smoother rides. The new Bullet will also include these advantages. To begin, the most obvious and significant modification to the new machine is the replacement of the 346cc UCE engine with the 349cc J-platform engine. The latter already serves the Classic 350 and Meteor 350, and it is likely to remain in its current configuration, delivering 20.2 horsepower and 27 nm of torque through a 5-speed gearbox.

LED Headlamp

The new Bullet retains much of its core character, despite some visual tweaks. The bike’s striking road presence and bold attitude, like those of its predecessors, will continue to be a major draw for enthusiasts. A new taillamp and headlamp have been seen on test mules, two of the most significant changes. These are comparable to those used on the most recent Classic 350. The level of the chrome highlights is approximately the same as that of the previous Bullet. Headlamp, turn indicators, fuel tank, and rear view mirrors have chrome flecks.

Another feature that makes the bike difficult to miss on the street is the long chrome-plated exhaust pipe. The retro theme is mostly the same as before, with features like a round headlamp and turn indicators, a classic fuel tank in the shape of a teardrop, old-fashioned utility boxes on the side, a wide mud guard for the rear, and wheels with wire spokes. Digital renders of the 2024 Bullet 350 have been created by Pratyush Rout based on the production-specs spy shots. Please be aware that Royal Enfield did not commission these renders. They were created by an independent artist.

Braking & Handling

Disk brakes will be installed on both wheels of the upcoming Bullet 350, as opposed to the front disc and rear drum system that is currently used on the model. For enhanced braking performance, single-channel ABS will remain. Telescopic forks on the front and dual shock absorbers on the back will handle suspension duties on the soon-to-be-released model. The current Classic 350 is likely to share nearly all of the updated Bullet’s foundations with the previous generation. This indicates that the frame has twin shock absorbers and double downtubes that are suspended from a standard telescopic fork.

The sizes of the wheels and tires should also be the same: 120/80-18 at the back and 100/90-19 at the front. The new Bullet should offer a more comfortable ride and be easier to handle than the bike it replaces, based on our experience with the Classic. However, its only differences from the Classic will be in the seats and brakes. The Bullet will have a single-piece seat like the Classic, which has split seats. The rear brake will most likely be a drum unit on all models, so dual-channel ABS is unlikely to be available. Dual-channel ABS and a rear disc brake are features of the Classic 350’s higher models.

The Classic 350 is said to get 41.55 kilometers per gallon. Drum brakes are installed at the front and rear of the Royal Enfield Classic 350. The Classic 350 has a kerb weight of 195 kilograms. Spoke wheels and a tubeless tire make up the Royal Enfield Classic 350. The spy shots also show classic spoked wheels, telescopic front forks, a black-clad side-mounted exhaust system, round tail lights and mirrors, a modern instrument cluster, twin-sided rear shock absorbers, and other features. A 349 cc single-cylinder OHC engine will power the retro motorcycle, which will be based on the double-cradle chassis found in the Meteor and Classic.
