The Ola S1 X 3kWh is powered by a central engine with 2.7kW continuous power output and a 6kW top engine for each of the three variants. The top speed of the S1X and S1X+ is 90 kmph, though it is 85 kmph on the 2kWh variant of the S1X. Eco, Ordinary and Sports riding modes are available in all three variants. The 0-60 kmph acceleration time for the S1X and S1X+ is 5.5 seconds, though it is 7.9 seconds for the 2kWh variant. The engine of the S1X and S1X+ is mated to a 3kWh lithium-particle battery pack.  It required 7.4 hours to charge from 0-100% using a home charger (for each of the three versions).

The ARAI-confirmed range for the Ola S1X, S1X+ and S1X 2kWh variants are 151km, 151km and 91km respectively. On the other hand, the declared actual range in Eco mode is 85 km for the 2kWh variant and 125 km for the other two variants. It takes 7.4 hours to charge from 0-100% with a home charger. This applies for each of the three variations. All things considered, the S1X and S1X+ use a 500W versatile charger while it’s a 350W unit for the 2kWh variant. The Ola S1 X 3kWh and Ola S1X+ come with a 500W compact home charger while the Ola S1 X 3kWh comes with a 750W that fully charges the bike’s 3kWh battery in 66% time (5 hours as compared to 7.4 hours) .

Braking, transmission & Handling

Equipment on both variants includes a circular casing, single front fork, rear mono-shock, circle brakes on both wheels and a linked stopping mechanism. The rounded corners of the Ola S1 X 3kWh ride on mono-shock suspension at the rear and single fork at the front. The single-arm plan on the two closures includes the bike’s European plan components. Halting power is provided by a 280mm disc at the front and a 220mm plate at the rear, which gets a combined stopping mechanism for safety.

Underpinnings are essential here, the steel Hagels brake squeezed onto the two finishes. Suspension is taken care of by an adaptive fork at the front and double-sided swingarm with twin safeguards at the rear. The biggest change from the S1 is that it doesn’t get a TFT touchscreen like Ola’s higher models, and on the other hand makes do with a less bulky, more readable LCD display. It also has more unpainted blue plastic than the S1 Air, so that should also help reduce costs.
