While specific details about the different versions are scarce, we do know that the Oben Rorr electric motorcycle will be available in three different colors.
Additionally, the Oben Rorr electric motorcycle is equipped with an app that stores various information about its motor, battery, controller, and drivetrain. Performance
The Rorr is not achieving its range by being lazy. It has a peak output of 10kW from its permanent magnet motor, making it the most powerful option mentioned here. In its fastest Havoc mode, it can reach a claimed top speed of 100kph while still offering a real-world range of 100km, according to Oben. This is more than what you get from the Ather 450X and Bajaj Chetak. It’s easy to see why our interest was piqued when we learned about this small motorcycle. We recently had a brief opportunity to test ride the Rorr outside Bengaluru, and here are our findings.
Suspension & Brakes
The Oben Rorr utilizes a telescopic fork in the front and a monoshock in the rear. It has disc brakes on both ends with CBS as a standard feature. This e-bike offers a substantial 200mm ground clearance and an impressive ability to wade through water, with a measurement of 230mm.
Top Speed
Despite being priced lower than the mentioned electric two-wheelers, it is able to achieve a greater range than most of them. In its lowest Eco mode, where the maximum speed is limited to 50kph, Oben states that you can expect a substantial real-world range of 150km (IDC range is stated as 200km). The only electric two-wheeler that claims a higher real-world range is the Ola S1 Pro, which now offers 165km in Eco mode after receiving the Eco mode update in its recent MoveOS 2 update. Prior to this update, the Ola S1 Pro had a claimed real-world range of 135km in Normal mode.

Powertrain
Rorr is considered to be one of the fastest electric two-wheelers currently available on our roads. According to Oben, it can go from 0 to 40kph in just 3 seconds, and its acceleration remains strong until around 80kph, after which it starts to decrease. However, it still manages to reach a speed of 100kph (as shown on the speedometer), slightly exceeding it. Even in the middle City mode, the bike has impressive pulling power and enough performance to keep up with traffic. The top speed is limited to a reasonable 70kph, which makes this mode perfect for most real-life situations.

Battery Pack
The key to the Rorr’s impressive range is its large 4.4kWh battery pack, which cannot be removed. To put it into perspective, the Tork Kratos R has a 4kWh unit, and even e-scooters, with their more complicated packaging limitations, have smaller battery packs (the Ola S1 Pro has a 3.97kWh battery). It’s important to mention that the Rorr uses an LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery, which is a different type of Li-ion battery with several advantages (improved chemical and thermal stability, for example) as well as some disadvantages (lower energy density) when compared to the traditional counterpart.
LED lighting
Rorr’s performance numbers are truly remarkable. Now, let’s take a closer look at how it has managed to achieve another impressive figure – its price. To begin with, the Rorr does not include many of the advanced features that are found in most new electric two-wheelers today. Therefore, you won’t find amenities such as a TFT display, speakers, cruise control, or even a reverse mode. However, this bike does come equipped with a colored negative LCD display that provides essential information, as well as eSIM and app connectivity.
