Mahindra has finally announced the replacement of the old Warhorse 2,179cc diesel motor with a new 2,184cc 2.2 mHawk powertrain. The last option has 130bhp and 300Nm of power like the new Thar and the pass level Scorpio-N. Like most BS6 motors, the new mHawk results in 6bhp and 20Nm less power than the old engine.

Exterior, the Mahindra Scorpio Classic gets a redesigned front guard with new Drove DRLs above the haze light bunch. It also gets projector headlamps, another grille with six vertical chrome supports, new 17-inch double tone amalgam wheels and reexamined Drow tail lights.
