Engine, Transmission & Handling
The Honda Dio is powered by a 109cc single-chamber motor mated to a CVT programmed transmission and produces 7.6bhp and 9Nm of torque. In terms of efficiency, the Honda Dio mileage is rated at 60 kilometers per litre. The Dio comes with the same motor as the Honda Activa 6G, although it gets a slightly unique tune, its 109.51cc air-cooled, BS6.2-compliant engine produces 7.76PS at 8000rpm and 9Nm at 4750rpm. The Dio H-Savvy gets a similar motor and is OBD2 and BS6.2 compliant.
The new Honda Dio model gets a basic simple instrument cluster in the standard variant compared to the part computerized cluster in the Exclusive variant. The front looks flawless with the Drov DRLs mounted on the handlebar and the Drov headlamps mounted on the front cover lighting the road well. The Honda Dio comes with a 109.51 cc air-cooled and single-chamber motor which also gets a customized fuel infusion set-up. Along with this there is also ACG starter innovation introduced by Honda. This motor produces 7.76 PS of maximum power and 9 Nm of peak torque. The motor is also mated to a CVT unit for maximum ride comfort. Braking, Suspension & Handling
Making it compliant with the new BS6 outflow norms is an improved 109.19cc motor that currently gets Honda’s optimized fuel-infusion instead of the previous carburetted set up. As for the cycle components, the previous model’s 10-inch wheels and trailing-link suspension have been replaced by 12-inch wheels with telescopic forks, similar to the Activa 6G. The rear wheel is a 10-incher and is supported by a monoshock. Slow speed is controlled by drum brakes on the two closures, assisted by an integrated stopping mechanism. To give it more strength, Honda has also slightly increased the wheelbase of Dio.
The bike rides on large 12-inch steel wheels front and center and comes with a standard adjustable fork. It gets a 10-inch rear wheel and a three-step preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. It gets 130mm drum brakes with CBS. Both the Sports Edition and H-Smart Edition feature alloys. The Honda Dio gets 130mm drum brakes at both the ends and is supported by an underbone frame. The scooter is supported by telescopic forks at the front and spring-loaded hydraulic shock at the rear, front tire with 90/100-12 section and rear tire with 90/100-10 section.

Exterior Design
The Dio looks great in every sense and the design is contemporary. The Dio measures 1,808 mm in overall length, 723 mm in width and 1,150 mm in height. The filling capacity of the gas tank stands at 5.3-litres while the ground clearance stands at 160 mm. The total weight of Dio is 105 kg. The Honda Dio offers an exciting scheme with seven color options which include Energetic Orange, Treats Snazzy Blue, Sports Red, Matte Hub Dark, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Amazing Yellow Metallic and Matte Pivot Dim Metallic.
