The sportier look of the 650 twins took inspiration from the Japanese automaker’s supersport leader, the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade (currently CBR1000RR-R). On the other hand, the new CB650R gets its exterior and schematic inspiration from the Lead’s barebones cousin, the CB1000R.
