The Pulsar SS400 is powered by a 373cc liquid-cooled engine, borrowed from the Duke 390 but slightly detuned for reduced power and torque. Bajaj plans to launch the SS400 by mid-next year, with an expected price of around Rs2 lakh. Once it hits the market, this flagship Pulsar will face competition from TVS Apache RR310 and KTM RC200.

Most of the motorcycle’s components will be shared with the RS200, and there is a possibility that it will adopt the same design as the concept version.
