Colour & Design

The Pulsar NS125 is sold in four colors – Orange, Red, Dark and Blue. The NS125 gets its styling from the NS200. It is equipped with a respectable looking headlamp, solid gas tank and twin drive tail lights. In fact, even in this piece, it is shown how to look energetic, thanks to the presence of the split vessel rail and the gut skillet. Bajaj Pulsar NS125 follows the same planning ethos like its other NS counterparts. A similar wolf-inspired headlamp, strong tank, strong body and split-seat arrangement carry over to the NS125. In any case, pin it on skinny tires and skinny adjustable forks, the description of the bicycle doesn’t look quite right. That being said, one area of cycling that seems really old after so long is the tools.

Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is inadequate. It doesn’t have any powered front lamps or a fully computerized run. In fact, even semi-computerized consoles have access indicators and luggage status markers. The halogen front lamps and Drove tail lights are essentially indistinguishable from the NS160 and NS200. NS125 is available in Beach Blue, Burnt Red, Fiery Orange and Pewter Grey. With acceptable fit and finish and tighter panel gaps, the NS125’s quality levels have improved significantly compared to something like the Pulsar 125. Planned, the NS125 gets semi-computer instruments from the NS200, meaning a simple tachometer (which is quite an upgrade) and speedometer, though no data on gear position or fuel usage.

Engine, Transmission & Performance

The Pulsar NS125 has a respectable eco-friendliness figure of around 40 km/l. This Bajaj gets power from a 124cc, air-cooled motor which is positioned in the side profile of the cruiser. Mated to a five-speed gearbox, this motor can produce 12 bhp at 8500 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm. The electric transport is straightforward and amicable, even when traveling in the city. It generates respectable low- and mid-range downforce, making it very easy to cross in the city. The strangulation response is not the same as that of its larger relatives, although it learns to defeat most rivals in its group.

Fueling the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is a cut-back version of the NS160’s 160.3cc motor. You get an ancient 124.45cc single-chamber, air-cooled, 2-valve SOHC unit that makes 12PS at 8500rpm and 11Nm at 7000rpm. It comes with a 5-speed transmission. This new engine is housed in the conventional Border outline tracked on all Pulsar NS models.  It produces 11.99PS and 11Nm, 0.19PS and 0.2Nm more than the Pulsar 125. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission and Bajaj claims a power-to-weight ratio of 83.3PS per tonne.

Exterior & Interior

Bajaj NS125 is not very popular in terms of exterior and looks. In fact, it looks a lot like its more established relative, the NS160, albeit with a better name and livery. All things considered, none of the rivals in its group are particularly attractive suburbanites (apart from the KTM). However, this cycle does not look as powerful as its flagship cousin, the NS200. The 125cc Worker measures 2012 mm in length, 805 mm in height and 810 mm in width, which puts the bicycle slightly more modest in aspects than its older relative, the NS160.

Bajaj Pulsar NS125 gets a 125.45cc single-chamber motor, which produces 11.6bhp and 11Nm of torque. Not at all like its oil-cooled more established counterpart, the 125cc motor is just air-cooled and comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Similarly, the cycle sees Bajaj’s e-vehicle burette system and no fuel is injected. Drive it efficiently, and the Bajaj Pulsar NS125’s mileage can be around 45 kmpl. The NS125 doesn’t offer much in terms of highlights. It gets a half computerized half simple presentation with an LCD speedometer. However, it seeks drowsiness remedy highlighting DRL arrangement with fog light presentation in any case.

Braking, Suspension & Handling

The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is based on a side body design suspended on an adjustable fork and monoshock. The cycle runs on the same 17-inch composite as its 160 cc and 200 cc counterparts, although they are shod with thinner 80-segment (front) and 100-segment (rear) MRF tyres. Similarly, there is a 240 mm petal plate at the front and center and a 130 mm drum at the rear. The bike weighs 144 kg, which is 7 kg less than the NS160. Bajaj Pulsar NS125 has been given adjustable suspension at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. Bajaj Pulsar NS125 uses a 240 mm front circle and a 130 mm back plate for brakes. All things considered, due to the bicycle’s compound edges, they are tubeless at both the front and rear.

The 17-inch alloy wheels of the Pulsar NS 125 come with tubeless tires at both ends. The stopping mechanism consists of a single 240 mm front disc and 130 mm back drum brake. The combination of both brakes stops the Pulsar in the required time. A semi-digital instrument cluster and a dual-channel ABS system are the two new additions to the Pulsar NS 125. The Pulsar NS125 has a 240mm plate at the front, still misses and gets a drum at the rear for its stopping power. On top of its ‘lively feel’, the cycle gets movable monoshock suspension with adjustable forks at the rear. However, the tires are quite slim, with 80/100 tires at the front and 100/90 at the rear.
