Bajaj CT 150X Price in India 2024, Launch Date, Full Specifications, Colors, Booking, Reviews

Bajaj CT 150X- The Bajaj CT 150X, a street bike, is expected to be priced at ₹ 1.50 Lakh in India. Its launch is scheduled for January 2024 and it will be in competition with the Bajaj Pulsar N250, Bajaj Pulsar NS200, and Honda CB 200X. Bajaj is currently conducting tests on several upcoming models and recently, leaked online photos revealed the CT 150X.

Just a day later, another test mule was spotted resembling a smaller version of the Pulsar P150. During testing, a new Bajaj commuter motorcycle was seen which appears to be a potential addition to the company’s rugged workhorses lineup – the CT 150X. Although most of the test mule is hidden by camouflage, certain distinctive features indicate that it belongs to the CT series.

Bajaj CT 150X Price 2024

There are indications that the upcoming model will be positioned higher than the current Bajaj CT 150X. One notable factor is the more premium split-spoke design of its alloy wheels. Additionally, it does not have certain practical features found in the smaller 125 model, like a rear luggage rack. It is possible that this may be a 150cc version of the rugged CT platform, potentially named the CT 150X.

This speculation is supported by Bajaj’s recent discontinuation of the Pulsar P150, which creates space for a basic and durable commuter motorcycle in their lineup. The inclusion of uncommon features such as a sump guard and braced handlebar further strengthens the theory that this test mule offers an early glimpse into an upcoming CT model.

Bajaj CT 150X Features

Bajaj must take notice of and integrate the concept bike version into the production-spec model as well. Now, let’s analyze the specifics of this concept version of the Bajaj CT 150X. Firstly, the overall design approach, comprising a large circular headlight and a tall, wide handlebar, bears a remarkable resemblance to the current CT 125X, which we tested last year and were highly impressed by. Additionally, there are several smaller elements worth mentioning. The inclusion of handguards is not very common for commuter bikes, but it is a feature that Bajaj has previously employed on models like the Platina 110 ABS.

Engine & Performance

The Bajaj CT 150X is fitted with a 124.4cc engine that produces a power output of 10.9PS at 8000rpm and a torque of 11Nm at 5500rpm. What’s interesting is that this engine is identical to the one used in the Bajaj Discover 125. The design of the Bajaj CT shares similarities with its smaller counterpart, the CT. It showcases an appealing headlight cowl which incorporates a ‘V’ shaped LED DRL and a compact visor, making it quite distinct for a budget-friendly commuter bike. In order to keep the price affordable, Bajaj has chosen to include basic features on the CT such as a halogen headlight, an analogue instrument cluster, and bulb-type taillights & turn indicators.

Gearbox & Brakes

Bajaj is preparing to launch the CT 150X in India, which will be equipped with a fuel injection BS6-compliant 148.8cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder engine. The introduction of FI technology has resulted in a 10% increase in both the bike’s performance and mileage. Bajaj plans to release this bike in the Indian market soon. Previously, the bike had a 4-speed gearbox, but it now offers a 5-speed gearbox under the name H-Gear. However, it should be noted that the Bajaj CT 150 model still retains its 4-gear transmission instead of having 5 gears.

Torque

The Bajaj CT 150X is equipped with a USB charger, but it lacks in performance due to its underwhelming 115cc single-cylinder engine. This engine produces a power output of only 8.6 PS and a torque of 9.81 Nm. It comes with a 4-speed gearbox and manual transmission. A recent Instagram post by abin_designs_511 showcased an intriguing concept for the Bajaj C150X, suggesting that a more powerful 150cc engine would greatly enhance its appeal alongside its attractive design themes.

Bajaj CT 150X Specification

The Bajaj CT 150X has recently been introduced in Russia at a price of 87,500 rubles (approximately INR 95,680). The latest version of the Bajaj 150X for the Russian market includes a 5-speed transmission, USB charger, and gear shift indicator. The previous model with a 4-speed transmission is still available for purchase. In terms of appearance, there are no noticeable changes to the Boxer 150X. This 150 cc commuter bike showcases a dual-purpose design with a simple circular headlamp, body-colored headlamp fairing featuring a tinted visor, high-mounted plastic front fender, classic fuel tank, long seat, dual-tone color scheme, black alloy wheels, and a luggage rack.
