Audi Q5 Reviews- Audi India has introduced the Q5 facelift in India with prices starting at Rs 60.05 lakh for the Premium Plus variant and going up to Rs 67.05 lakh for the range-topping Technology variant (both prices ex-showroom, India). The new Audi Q5 facelift will be available in India as a completely knocked down (CKD) unit and will be locally assembled at the Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) plant in Aurangabad, which is owned by its parent company, VW Group. The Q5 features an updated cabin design that closely resembles the layout found in some of Audi’s newer models, including the refreshed A4 facelift.

The appearance of the Audi Q5 facelift is more sleek and daring than its previous version, with most of the updates focused on its front end. The muscular front end is enhanced by a larger single-frame grille featuring chrome borders and vertical slats, as well as a more substantial silver skid plate. Additionally, the SUV now boasts larger foglamp housings, silver roof rails, and side skirts. The full-LED headlights have been revised and new LED daytime running lamps (DRLs) have been added. At the rear, the SUV showcases brand new LED taillights and 19-inch 5 double-spoke star style alloy wheels.

Fuel Economy & Real-World MPG

The 2024 Audi Q5 40 has EPA fuel-economy estimates of 23 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, resulting in a combined rating of 25 mpg. In contrast, the 45 sacrifices just 1 mpg on the highway to offer an additional 61 horsepower. During our 75-mph fuel economy test route, the Q5 45 achieved its EPA rating of 28 mpg. The 55 TFSI e plug-in hybrid provides slightly better fuel economy (26 mpg combined in hybrid mode). However, it stands out as it only offers an electric range of 19 miles when fully charged and is also more expensive. It’s worth noting that during our testing, the plug-in hybrid only delivered 26 mpg on our 75-mph fuel-economy route and was only able to cover 17 out of its estimated 23 electric-only miles. Nevertheless, regardless of the chosen powertrain, the Q5 performs admirably against its competitors.
