The Macan S 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 produces 375 bhp and 520 nm of torque, while the top-of-the-line Macan GTS produces a staggering 434 bhp and 550 nm of torque. A seven-speed DCT unit handles transmission duties. With the base super four-chamber, the Macan limits to 60 mph in 5.0 seconds. Speed aficionados will want to upgrade to the twin-turbo V-6-powered S model, but it feels good around town. At our test track, the Macan S was a couple of moments behind the more impressive GTS with a 3.8-second zero-to-60-mph time.
Despite the fact that an SUV probably does not need to accelerate as rapidly off the line, the Macan S accelerates significantly faster than the Audi SQ5 and Jaguar F-Pace S. The Macan gets a new front spoiler and a slightly different front apron with wider air intakes. To the side, there are seven different designs for the alloy wheels. The black diffuser is now extended upwards on the posterior for a stylish and sporty appearance. The Macan is one of the least useful vehicles in this class due to its tiny cargo space and cramped interior compartments.
The Macan gets a new layout for the instrument cluster dials and its signature analog clock at the top of the dashboard inside the cabin.
